Reality Check
For several decades, American core values, the constitutional rights of families and community partners, and historical anchors of society have gone through a systematic dismantling that has increased momentum over time. If we are to survive and overcome this trend, it will require a significant increase of citizen involvement in the process. Relinquishing the majority of citizenship responsibilities to leaders has led to undesirable results and continuing on this path will result in a continued decline of American society and further departure from the core values that made this country great and successful. It is time for “We the People” to become more pro-active citizens by being informed and engaged.

Pro-Active Engagement
My purpose for running for city council is to preserve and advance core values of faith, family, and flag, facilitate citizen involvement in government processes and decisions that affect Duluth families and businesses, serve the people through decisive use of common sense, and restore a higher level of transparency, accessibility, and accountability in government practices and policy-making. I am committed to ensuring the safety and welfare of Duluth citizens, and preserving historical anchors and rich heritage of the great City of Duluth.

Focusing on What Matters
My priorities are to pro-actively involve citizens in governmental processes and decisions through training initiatives and creation of task forces to address challenges facing Duluth, advance quality of life for Duluth families, and preserve historical anchors and rich history of Duluth. I will seek opportunities to facilitate sustainable economic growth and development for current and new business owners in Duluth, continue to partner with community organizations and leaders to address concerns and work out solutions, and ensure the continued success of Duluth’s safety record and pursuing added enhancements in emergency services and citizen preparedness.
